Our Back to School Bash is right around the corner & this year will be even stronger as we partner together to bring this event to our area! The heart behind this event is to abundantly bless our local community by sending families into the school year equipped & smiling. Through free school supplies, free food, free carnival games, and more our desire is to help students start their school year strong. This event relies on both FCC & GLC to rise up - donate, serve, and invite. To learn more about how to be involved, see below! Let's bless our neighborhood!
1. VOLUNTEER
We need your help. The vision behind this event is a time where the Church pulls together to bless our community - so we need EVERYONE. Yes, everyone. Please fill out the simple form below if you're interested in volunteering!
2. DONATE
FYI - we do NOT need more pencils at this time - thank you!
School Supplies: You can drop off all new school supplies before or after church - we have a supply collection bin in the foyer! All supplies must be turned in by Sun, Aug 20th! We also would be so grateful for cash donations if you're unable to get to the store - you can mark "Other" on your giving, and write: "Bash"
Raffle: This year, we have a raffle for an added layer of fun! Some ideas for raffle item donations include gift cards for clothing / shoes (Walmart, Footlocker, Old Navy, etc), services to bless families (family photo session, free haircuts, landscaping, etc) , experiences for the whole family (bowling, putt putt, roller skating, ice skating, etc) or a specialty item (laptop, tablet, sports equipment, etc). If you’re interested in donating a raffle prize, please fill out the “raffle donor” form below.
3. INVITE
In order for this event to be a success - people must come! Please download the invitations below to print or download some of the sample social media posts to text to friends and family or to share on your personal account! Let's be a community of inviters & bless people!
